At the initial consultation, your surgeon will perform a physical exam and run through your complete medical history to ensure that you are an ideal candidate. In preparation for the surgery, patients must quit smoking, alcohol consumption, and anti-inflammatory/ blood thinning medication.
You will be given a set of instructions on which medications you must take the day of your procedure. You will be asked to come into the surgery center at a specific time in order to prep you for your surgery and go over any final questions you may have.
